Your donation will provide case management, crisis intervention, and/or therapeutic services to families in the following programs:
Children Who Witness Violence: Evidence-based practices for families with children who are exposed to violence in their homes and community.
Children of Incarcerated Parents: Trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, case management, family mediation, and art workshops for children who have a parent incarcerated at Cuyahoga County’s Community Based Correctional Facility (CBCF) and their caregivers.
Defending Childhood Initiative: Screening, assessment, and therapy for children who have been exposed to violence and whose families are involved with the Cuyahoga County Department of Children and Family Services.

Supporting Families: Supporting Children helps children process the trauma of losing a parent to opioid overdose. The program utilizes the evidence-based intervention, Trauma Systems Therapy (TST).
Supportive Housing for Families: Case management and individual and family counseling for families who are experiencing homelessness and have at least one family member who is suffering from a mental health and/or substance abuse diagnosis.
Supportive Services for Veteran Families: Case management and behavioral health services to prevent homelessness and increase housing options for veterans and their families.
Traumatic Loss Response Team: Immediate, in-home services to mitigate the long-term effects of trauma for children who have experienced a traumatic loss, including the suicide, homicide, or accidental death of a loved one. Services include crisis stabilization, safety planning, trauma assessment, and diagnosis, and counseling for all impacted family members.
Young Adult Services: Helps parents (ages 18-24) who experience homelessness to obtain and maintain permanent housing. Many of those served have experience in foster care and/or as victims of childhood trauma.
