Who We Are
The Stricklin Crisis Stabilization Unit (Stricklin CSU) is a 15-bed intensive, short-term behavioral health treatment alternative to the emergency room or inpatient hospitalization. The goal of the CSU is the reduction of mental health symptoms, resolution of the crisis, restoration of functioning, connection to support and resources, and rapid reintegration back into the community.
The Stricklin Crisis Stabilization Unit provides comprehensive crisis mental health services through a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals, including psychiatrists, nurses, social workers, and crisis specialists. The CSU utilizes a strengths-based and trauma-informed care approach to treatment that emphasizes the rights of individuals to receive services that are tailored to their mental health needs and promote their unique journey to recovery. This intensive treatment and supports are available at the CSU 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
