Maureen Sweeney RN, MSN, PMHP

Ms. Sweeney is an experienced Healthcare Administrator in Community Psychiatry. Her background in nursing assists her in understanding complex systems, identifying gaps in healthcare, and working to improve access to quality care. As the agency’s expert on integrated care, Ms. Sweeney leads efforts to decrease morbidity and mortality rates in those living with severe mental illness. Through partnerships with community donors, she has been able to hone a nursing driving, integrated care, outreach model to work towards providing equitable access to healthcare for vulnerable populations.

Ms. Sweeney is knowledgeable in non-profit financing, quality improvement, risk assessment/ mitigation, government relations in healthcare, and creating systems that aim to be mission-driven and sustainable. Her efforts to support vulnerable populations have been recognized at the national level, including being named a “Health Care Hero” by Oprah Magazine in 2018.
